Personality Management

Your personality is powerful!  It impacts your friendships, financial decisions, satisfaction and success!  All personalities have their challenges.  In a relationship you need to adjust your behavior to balance the other person’s personality type.  It is extremely important.

Imagine connecting to you’re loving energy with someone who totally frustrates you?  Yep, it’s hard to imagine.  When an expressive and an analytical type are relating the hidden thought is… Why can’t you be more like me?

If everyone had the same personality type we would be no where in this world.  Complementary personalities are essential for innovation, collaboration and progress.  In relationships there is a need for balance and expanding each other’s life experiences.

In our Personal and Work Life there are people we need to get along with.  Sometimes the personality fit is good and other times it isn’t.  It’s important that you figure out how to turn the bad fits into better fits.

How to Get Along with a Different Personality Type

  1. Acknowledge your different personalities
  2. Understand and accept your differences
  3. Commit to making things better
  4. Share what is important for the other person to know
  5. Listen closely and Connect to CARING and COMPASSION
  6. Be patient with them and yourself
  7. Notice how you feel.  It should be better J
