Money Impacts Every Area of Your Life

Money Impacts your Career, Relationships and Health. Money is a valuable tool.  Used properly it can help you create a better and better life. If not it can cause unnecessary stress and unhappiness. Money decisions are 90% emotional. Your personal money story creates emotional obstacles. Everyone has one!

*My newest passion is helping millennials have financial security, a fulfilling career and rewarding relationships.  I’m in the process of creating content related to “Millennials. Money. Life.” I’ve got a new niche!

It can be challenging to choose a new career path or decide to leave a job or relationship. Money almost always plays a part in your decision. Do you pursue a better fitting career or job that pays less? When money is tight its even harder to “break up” and stop splitting expenses. You might feel trapped and that is not a good feeling.

Millennials often feel stressed about money due to dealing with debt or not having enough when an unexpected expense arises. Financial stability contributes to your well being. Be patient if you aren’t there yet as it takes time.  With a strategic spending and saving plan (and good support) it will happen much faster.

Money worries are higher since the Corona Virus started. Older millennials are especially scared because of the 2008-2009 recession. After graduating from college it was very challenging to find a professional job.  Today with so much uncertainty about the next couple of years you are more concerned about money and your financial future.

Making a change is not easy. It takes courage. When your mood and confidence are lower it makes it harder. Becoming a better manager of your bad moods and fears is essential.  I strongly suggest reaching out for support from friends, family or an online (Covid friendly!) support group. Working with a professional counselor is another option.

One of my mentors shares my passion for financial education and helping people obtain financial security. He has terrific tips related to saving and investing.  He will be posting blogs on my website very soon.  I’m thrilled to have him on my team! His name is Larry!

Feeling grateful today and hope you are too!
