Working toward a challenging and important goal is not easy even if you intellectually understand what needs to be done. Clients have come to me after participating in expensive marketing courses tailored to their specific professions, such as financial planning, law or accounting. These courses provided the essential tips, tools and techniques to attract more clients and make more money but there was very little one-on-one coaching and emotional obstacles were not addressed or emphasized.
Learning how to manage your emotions is critical to being able to effectively make use of the tips, tools and techniques. From years of teaching business networking I’ve observed how easy it is to understand my principles and philosophy and how hard it is to stay positive, productive and motivated without the support and guidance of a coach skilled in the techniques needed to navigate difficult emotions.
In transitioning to or being a self-employed professional, you will likely encounter some fear and disappointment. The road to achieving your goals will include some setbacks. Each of these experiences is an opportunity to learn. What can I do that I haven’t done before? Who can I enlist to help me? How can I maximize my personal resources? The support you get from family and friends is limited. Reaching out to a professional coach or counselor can help you transform a stressful, frightening or disappointing event into an experience that will help you and your business grow.
I help my clients become master networkers and grow their business by teaching tips, tools and techniques and by helping them become masters at managing their emotions. In the end what matters most to me is that my clients become happier people who are more excited and satisfied with their lives.
Please feel free to contact me and let me know how I can help you.
