You’re Not Alone!

Stress happens! For no apparently good reason and for every good reason! There is a problem and we strive to solve it. Many books have been written about stress management and it has been a hot topic for years and years. Some say that there is good stress and bad stress. Not sure I agree with that statement. Stress by definition feels bad. It leads to less satisfaction, success, happiness, productivity and profits! Successful Business Owners know it is not a good thing. They will invest in stress management training and provide paid personal days in addition to vacation days. Stress is an important issue and one that will always be a matter of managing it, not finding a way to never experience it.

The Five R’s of Stress Management

1. Recognize it as part of being a human being

2. Refocus away from the stressful situation and towards a solution

3. Remember what has worked well in the past

4. Review your stress management resources/books!

5. Regroup and rely on relaxation techniques
